Sometimes you need a weekend away to soak in the salt air and eat a dozen oysters with cares of the city far, far behind. This is one of those weekends.
Allie and I found some time to be stress-free and we took it, venturing to my little hometown of Port St. Joe, Florida for the holiday weekend. It's a place that we've been visiting forever. Since we met freshman year of college we've been enjoying this spot on the map.
It's a place where time stands still in moments. The pace of life is slower, the people are friendly, the ocean waves are healing, and the family is loving.
