We all have much to learn on our individual wellness journeys. Yet we must begin to ever learn.
I can firmly say I began my wellness journey in college and Allie played a huge role.
Shocker, right?
My ears were instantly perked to the lingo of health and wellness after hanging with Allie for a bit and getting to know her mom - a registered nurse that shaped her girls into amazing, walking health wikis.
Allie was the girl in college sneaking colloidal silver into her friend's water bottles upon mention of feeling under the weather. She took special pride in teaching me several types of crackers, that aren't really crackers, to have with goat cheese (the healthiest of the cheeses) for study snacks. She always made it really fun to keep wellness in check. We learned what the best sugar-free smoothie was at Tropical Smoothie and rocked the mini vanilla scones at many Starbucks final exam lock-ins.
Basically, Allie helped teach me that wellness is worth it. Sharpening your vision toward a healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally is so worth it. It gives you natural control over your being and the person you will live with for quite awhile. We're taking a deep dive into wellness and invite you to come along --
A special thanks to Allie for this chamomile tea I'm drinking at the moment. She's trying to help with the insomnia plaguing the house this week. Total par for the course.
