Well, I finally decided that one of my favorite women in the
world is Lauren Hutton. I always knew she was in the top ten but a few other
smashing, beautiful women were on the list too. It’s official; Lauren’s now in
the top five.
So, who’s on this list? Why have a list? Okay, so usually
the traits found amongst that list are things that are reflective of you. We
can dream up plenty of people that we admire but sometimes these are a bit
shallow to what we want to be, not
what we are. My top five include a few historical ladies,
influencers and other superhuman women, including my gracious and loving
mother. Having strong women to look up to and learn from is crucial in a
journey of well-being.
Lauren Hutton represents what we are. She is a striking image in the beauty and fashion landscape
today and has been since the 1970s. At age 68, she is a natural beauty with a
spirit of stamina, adventure and heart. She respects women to the utmost and
has spent her career showcasing the realness of the female gender - our dailies
and stunning life callings.
She cheers on personal style – not what we are told to wear,
but what we want to wear.
She embraces wrinkles as, “our medals of the passage of
life.”
She explores and plays – she doesn’t take herself too seriously.
She found a gap in the beauty market and with great verve
faced it head on – resulting in one of the most natural beauty lines on the
market.
“Good Stuff” by Lauren Hutton has to be the most
comprehensive makeup known to (wo)man. I’ve been wearing Lauren’s stuff for
years and it is the only makeup I’ve found that accentuates beauty. It doesn’t
change or enhance beauty into oblivion. It emphasizes and accents your features
and what your face really looks like.
She is nothing short of genuine and beautiful. She is a woman
that should be on your top list.
XOXO
