Regular or decaf, buy or rent, do or don't... we make decisions every day. Granted, some are easier than others (ahem... double grande, extra hot, light foam cappuccino), but all involve a transition from a to b. The trick is discovering how to get from a to b without gaining ten pounds from a stress induced chocolate binge.
Consider this - why are we so comfortable asserting our choices in the Starbucks line but hide in the closet and cry when we're deciding whether to renew the lease or move cross-country. No matter the scale, we should be careful to never let fear influence our ability to move forward. The next time you're engaged in the decision making process, try incorporating the steps below. This is a great post! So true. You shouldn't be afraid of making decisions and don't worry about who is going to let you do something including yourself.
ReplyDeleteI love this. It seems like decisions that don't have long term effects always seem easier than those that could determine a different future than we want or hoped for. But it always works out in the end :)
