Any time a holiday season is in swing we all have the anxiety of missing it. Not having our house decorated like we had wished, not making the traditional foods that should be made, not passing out candy to trick-or-treaters and the list goes on. It's the best time of year and, many times, the most stressful one.
Find encouragement in knowing that it is the little bright spots that make the season memorable. Sitting by a backyard fire, sipping a hot cup of cider and enjoying good conversation is the epitome of autumn. It rejuvenates your soul and reminds you to treasure the coming months.
Even if you only take an hour after work to unwind and drink hot cider or hot chocolate - these are the things that mean something.

It's true. It's too easy to stress out on all the things you should be doing. I try to capture the small but special and precious moments of every day life. Like walking on crisp fall leaves and hearing them crack beneath my boot.
