Deciding what to wear for a day trip can be a tricky number. What do you choose that will be comfortable enough to ride in the car for a few hours, versatile enough to span Starbucks lines across the state and stylish enough to make all of your Instagram followers comment with jealousy?
Wonderlisters, no need to fret. We have you covered for any terrain, temperature, outing or adventure. With this wardrobe, the only thing you'll have to worry about is where the next rest stop is located.
1 / A comfy tee is a must when navigating unknown locales. Choose one with a fun graphic to add some personality to your look.
2 / Leggings work wonders during car rides. They provide comfort while maintaining a pulled together vibe. Choose a medium weight fabric that can work for hot and cold.
3 / A long sweater can be thrown over in cooler temperatures and substituted as a top with the leggings if you want to change it up for dinner (or if you spilled coffee on your shirt mid-trip).
4 / A large tote holds all the necessities and looks fabulous.
5 / Shades are necessary when traveling. Never doubt the power of an oversized pair that can cover up half your face in case the day runs long and your concealer starts to thin.
6 / Rugged boots will work for any occasion, in any terrain. Plus they're oh so cute.

Dressing for travel is definitely hard - comfort and movement is key. Leggings work best for me. In the versatile color black, they go with everything in my wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteI love to wear leggings on trips so I can easily sit indian style on a long drive. And an oversized bag is a must for toting all your goods around! Love this post.
ReplyDeleteThis really is the perfect outfit, leggings are my default travel-wear - so comfy!
